Laurie Miller is the hands-on owner and administrator of Apple Care and Companion, a Dallas home care agency assisting older adults in living happier, healthier and safer lives. She is a graduate of the McCombs School of business at The University of Texas at Austin and recently received a masters degree in Gerontology from Eastern Illinois University.
Laurie is a 2 term past president of the Dallas Area Gerontological Society, commonly known as DAGS, and is still an active member. She also founded and is active in Conversation Ready NTX, which facilitates people and their families in discussing and sharing their wishes for end of life care.
Laurie is married, has 2 adult children and a new granddog, Larry. She loves traveling to Destin, Florida for some quality beach time, and to visit her son and daughter-in-law in Chicago and daughter in NYC.

She has been in the Healthcare Industry for 20 years and has experience in a multitude of healthcare settings.
