Terry Robert Teitelbaum

TERRY ROBERT TEITELBAUM, of Dallas, Texas, passed away at the age of 94 on December 05, 2022. Terry was born on August 16, 1928 in New York, NY to Max Teitelbaum & Pauline Newmark Teitelbaum. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. After being discharged, he attended NYU where he continued studying his love for Opera. And, then, Terry found love; and married Lynn Horn on February 14,1951. Terry was a Man of all Seasons! A true Master of wit & words who lived life as Artfully, Musically and Creatively as possible! Always excited to share his wide array of talents, interests & gifts with family, friends & even strangers. Terry was an avid collector of Art, Antiques, Opera, Jewelry, Coins, Stamps, Hats & sophisticated "Junk"! He had a unique ability to compose a Ditty, Poem, Song or Letter in seconds - a quirky Poetic "Waxer"! He was a wonderfully talented painter & had a profound love for original Art. Another passion was Opera; singing & collecting records. Terry came alive while playing the Piano & could make the keys dance; especially when performing before a crowd. And, playing before several crowds at the young age of 94, he still had that "swing"! He was also known for his fashion & style; always impeccably dressed; even at 94 years old! Terry was blessed to have lived a full & happy life. Most of all, Terry was a delightfully warm, loving & devoted husband, father, grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend to all. He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Lynn(née Horn); and their 3 loving children, son Marc(Naura), daughter Jill Bussell(Don Bussell, z"l) & daughter Karen Mangan(Thom); and, known lovingly as "Poppa" by his 5 beautiful grandchildren, Andy, Ryan, Julia, Charles & Riley. Terry was a love of a man; and will be missed dearly by family, friends & all who knew him.
