Gerrie Gould February 17, 1944 – April 15, 2026 Gerrie Gould, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, passed away on April 15, 2026, at the age of 82 in Plano, Texas. Gerrie was born on February 17, 1944, in the San Fernando Valley, California. She built a life centered on family, love, and connection. For 61 years, she was married to her devoted husband, Gerald (Jerry) Gould. Together, they built not only a beautiful family, but also a pharmacy business where Gerrie worked side by side with Jerry for over 20 years, managing the administrative and bookkeeping side with care, dedication, and pride. Gerrie was the cornerstone of her family. She devoted herself fully to those she loved, especially her children and grandchildren, who were truly her pride and joy. She was known lovingly as “Grammy,” a name she wore with pride and joy. Her love was constant, steady, and deeply felt, and it will continue to surround them always. She had a kindness and thoughtfulness that made people feel comfortable, seen, and welcome. Wherever she went, she made friends easily and left a lasting impression on those around her. For the past four years, Gerrie faced cancer with strength, grace, and resilience. She did not face it alone. She was surrounded by a true community - family and friends who showed up repeatedly with meals, support, companionship, and love. That circle of care meant so much to her and to all of us. Her daughter, Jodi Lemeshev, a physician, cared for her with extraordinary devotion - coordinating her care, advocating for her, and guiding the family through every step of her illness. Her husband, Jerry, remained faithfully by her side with unwavering love and partnership throughout. Her son, Rick Gould, had a steady and loving presence, supporting his mother and family with deep care and devotion throughout her journey. She is survived by her beloved husband, Gerald (Jerry) Gould; her children, Jodi Lemeshev and Rick Gould; her brother John Seder; her niece Amy Seder and her cherished grandchildren, Eva, Eliana, and Isaac Lemeshev. Preceded in death by her father Jules David Seder and her mother Madeline Dorothy Seder. A graveside service will be held at Restland Cemetery, in Dallas, in the Mount Sinai section, officiated by Rabbi Nasanya Zakon of DATA of Plano on Sunday, April 19 at 10:30 a.m (southwest corner of Restland Rd and Greenville Ave, enter on Restland Rd). For those attending, GPS coordinates to the graveside service are 32.91952° N, 96.74303° W. A reception will follow at the home of her daughter, Jodi Lemeshev.
