Susana Beatriz Kosoy Susana Beatriz Kosoy, 85 years old, passed away on Thursday January, 25th 2024 peacefully in her sleep at Medical City of Plano Hospital. Susana was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina to parents David and Esther (Samban) Kosoy on March 18, 1938. Her childhood was spent with her younger sister Irene Kosoy-Uboldi creating wonderful memories. She married young to Ricardo Salvador Lo Giudice, and had three daughters: Silvina Patricia, Vanina Gisela and Susana Paola. Susana was a spirited and devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Susana briefly lived in Washington DC, Israel and eventually settled in Dallas, Texas. Susana was a woman of style with an eye for the finer things in life. She filled her home with art, music, antiques and family photographs. A lover of all animals, she shared her home with her dogs and birds throughout her years. Susana frequently visited Argentina; during her travels she would dine and wine with her younger sister. She was a great conversationalist and avid romance reader. She enjoyed watching game shows, telenovelas late at night and Netflix shows with family. Her favorite pastimes were shopping at North Park Centre, getting pampered at the hair/nail salon, eating lunch at La Madeline and her afternoon coffee with sweets. Most importantly, she never missed an event with her family. She cherished being the center of attention at dinners, holiday parties and birthday celebrations. Her strong presence and elegant beauty will be greatly missed by her family who was devoted to her in sickness and in good health throughout her lifetime. Susana is survived by her family—Daughter Silvina Lo Giudice (granddaughter Gianna Torres and grandson Gianluca Torres); Daughter Vanina Saltzman (husband Eduardo Saltzman; granddaughter Karen Black and husband Andrew Black, great-grandson Isaac Black; grandson Daniel Saltzman and grandson Tomer Saltzman); Daughter Susana Paola Pieniek (husband Dr. Marc Pieniek). Sister Irene Kosoy-Uboldi; niece Esther Claudia Uboldi and family. Susana is preceded in death by her parents. Our sincerest gratitude to the medical team at Medical City of Plano, HeartPlace in Plano, Dallas Nephrology Associates, Fresenius Kidney Care, Luna Physical Therapy and her physicians. A private funeral service was held on Friday, January 26th, 2024 at 2:30pm CST at Restland Funeral Home & Cemetery in Dallas, TX.
