Stuart Jay Bamberger

Stuart Jay Bamberger, born June 30, 1954 died November 4,2019 at the age of 65 in Houston, Texas. He was predeceased by his parents, Max and Louise (née Feinsod) Bamberger. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Terri, and his son, Brian Bamberger. Also, surviving him are his in-laws Barry and Janet Tobias, nieces, and a brother Richard. Stuart put himself through college by working at Weingarten's where he made lifelong friends. He later joined his father in business at The Metal House where he bought and sold scrap metal. Stuart was known for his honesty, loyalty and being very hard working. Although many times quiet and in the background, once you knew him, you wouldn't forget him. He was always dependable and could be counted to help anyway he could. He was active in Houston Metal Processors until it folded. Although never on a Rodeo committee, he supported it by donating to different cook off teams and participating with a group to buy championship chickens at the auctions. He was always happy to help the Boy Scouts (Troop 806), which had a special place in his heart. He loved classic cars and collected a number of classic Buick's over the years. He was most proud of his 1953 and 1954 Buick Roadmaster convertibles, participating in parades driving dignitaries riding in the car. He also enjoyed being in car shows with his cars such as Classy Chassie, Autorama, Keels and Wheels, and many other pop up car shows around town, showing off his cars. His crowning achievement was taking his 1956 Buick to the Buick National Car Show. You could never miss this car although it was officially called Tahitian Coral, it was Pink. The family would like to thank Tender Care Assisted Living personal care home for their care of Stuart after Terri could no long care for him alone. As his disease progressed, it is thought that Stuart had Multiple System Atrophy, a disease with no treatment or cure. The family donated his brain to research with the hope of finding out more information that might help others in the future.
