Dana Livni Goldstein

Dana Livni Goldstein, beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend, passed away at her home in Dallas, Texas. She was 45 years old. Dana was born on July 29, 1980, in Eilat, Israel. She built a life centered on family, generosity, and meaningful connection with others. Dana was a kind and empathetic person, always thinking of those around her and finding quiet, thoughtful ways to show it. Whether bringing food, sending notes of encouragement, or opening her home to gather people together, she made others feel cared for and supported. Her presence brought warmth and comfort to so many. Dana was an artist at heart. She attended an arts high school and continued to pursue creative expression throughout her life. She studied photography at The Camera Obscura School in Israel, and worked as a photographer and TV production assistant for Israeli cooking shows. Her creativity extended beyond photography, into painting, and cooking. She extended beyond her home kitchen, into a food blog, a meal prep business, and in recent years she became a personal chef, preparing thoughtful, highly nutritious meals for athletes. Dana was a deeply devoted wife and mother. She loved her family near and far. Though she lived in the United States for the past 18 years, she remained closely connected to her family in Israel, especially her sisters, Sheli and Nilli, and her parents. Her two children were her pride and joy, and they will always be surrounded by her love. Following her cancer diagnosis, Dana was surrounded by a village of friends who cared deeply for her and her family. Friends near and far showed up in countless ways, preparing meals, helping with her children, sitting with her during treatments, and offering constant support, care, and love. Dana felt that presence, and she was deeply grateful. She is survived by her loving husband, Amit Goldstein, who stood by her side with unwavering dedication throughout her illness and in all the years before; her children, Dean Goldstein and Mila Goldstein; her parents, Gideon and Tamar Livni; and her siblings, Sheli Livni and Nilli Livni. She was deeply cherished by her family and by all who knew her. A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 10th at 2:00 PM at Tiferet Israel Cemetery, 7900 Scyene Road, Dallas, Texas. The family will be sitting shiva at their home in Dallas. Visitors are welcome starting Saturday eve, Sunday 12–7 pm, and weekday evenings between the hours of 5-8 pm.
